A matched gas furnace and AC, installed together, with the installed price printed on the page: equipment and installation in one number, the same one you'd check out with in our shop.
Gas furnace plus AC is the standard setup in Coppell, usually a single 3.5- or 4-ton system for the house, and many homes are on their second. We check the ductwork before quoting the third.
Coppell runs from Old Town out along the Belt Line and Denton Tap corridor to the newer building near Cypress Waters, and much of it went up in the late 1980s and 1990s — so a lot of homes are on their second system and due for a third. Gas furnace plus AC is the standard configuration here, usually a single 3.5- or 4-ton unit for the house, and the duct systems are old enough that we check them before we quote.

Step 1
Text a photo of the data plate on your current equipment and your address, or book a visit. That's usually enough to know what's there now.
Step 2
We size from the house and the duct layout, not just the old nameplate, and quote a matched system with the installed price on it.
Step 3
Most single-system replacements are done in a day. The old equipment is hauled away.
Step 4
The new system is started, charged and checked before we leave, and you're shown how it runs.

Not necessarily. The most common reasons a system stops cooling are a clogged condensate drain line, a dirty air filter, and a failed capacitor. Check the drain line first: when it clogs, the float switch shuts the system off on purpose, and running a drain line cleaner through it can save you a visit and a trip charge. Then check the filter, since a clogged one can freeze the coil. If both look fine, it's often the capacitor on the outdoor unit. Leave that one to a technician, because it holds a charge even with the power off. Not sure what you're looking at? Book a video call and we'll walk you through it.
Book a $25 video callWhen both are the same age, usually yes. A matched furnace, coil and condenser are rated to work together, and doing it in one visit costs less than two separate installs. If one side is much newer, we'll tell you.
We size from the house and the ductwork, not just the old nameplate, and tell you if the existing system was the wrong size to begin with.
